How to setup a budget for SaaS subscription?

Modified on Wed, 12 Mar, 2025 at 12:46 PM

You can now associate subscriptions with recurring payments (such as SaaS subscriptions) to recurring budgets.

This enhancement eliminates the need for users to manually link their card to the budget before each recurring transaction.

Warning: This is particularly useful for users who frequently create SaaS subscription budgets, streamlining their financial management process effortlessly.
How does this work?

When a cardholder confirms a subscription (such as a SaaS service) by approval the initial payment transaction with a merchant and associating it with a specific budget, all subsequent recurring transactions from that merchant will be automatically linked to the same budget without any further user intervention.

Note: It is recommended to request a monthly recurring budget allocation for SaaS payments. Additionally, ensure that the cardholder pays the first SaaS payment from the correct budget.
