Expensya and GDPR

Modified on Wed, 12 Mar, 2025 at 12:34 PM

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), a key European data protection regulation, became effective on May 25th, 2018. This significant legislation introduced fresh obligations for companies, including Expensya, involved in processing personal data. The GDPR not only imposes responsibilities on businesses but also grants new rights to individuals affected by this data processing. Notably, it emphasizes the right to oversight and the right to data portability for individuals.

Expensya has implemented all necessary measures to ensure GDPR compliance, providing our services within a secure and transparent legal framework.

These changes are already in place from May 25th and you can find the new privacy policy here and the new general terms of use here.

Furthermore, we appointed a Data Protection Officer, which you can send an email to privacy@expensya.com
